FAQ FOR RENTING A BIKE OR CAR FROM FTS TRAVEL


Q1. What is FTS Travel?


Ans. FTS Travel is a part of FTS India (Food-Travel-Stay). It a Government registered startup which is incorporated with the Laws of India. It a mobile app which provides its users a platform where they can rent a bike or car just near them.

Q2. Why I choose FTS Travel to rent a bike or car?


Ans. As FTS Travel is Government approved, so all the processes are under the Laws. You can rent your desired car or bike after some easy and secure processes. The best thing is that, FTS Travel gives a platform where you can rent a bike or car directly from the Owner, without any third party interference.

Q3. How can I rent a Car or Bike?


Ans. The processes are very simple. Just download the mobile app of FTS Travel from Google Playstore, register your profile, add your details like Adhaar Card details, Pan card details and Driving License Details. Then select your desired place and search your desired bike and car and rent it.

Q4. You are saying that I can rent the Car or Bike Directly from the Owner, so how will I get the details of The Owner?


Ans. When you book a Car or Bike with FTS Travel, the Owner will receive a notification. After the Owner approve your booking, FTS Travel will provide the details of the Owner.

Q5. Where can I pick the Vehicle?


Ans. As you are renting directly from the Owner, so in most of the cases you need to go to the Owner place to rent the Vehicle. But, you can request the Owner for any change in the pick-up location. But it will be Owner’s final decision whether he/she wants to change it or not. If there is any change in the Pick-up location then you must notify the FTS Travel first.

Q6. Where I have to drop the Vehicle after the booking Period?


Ans. You have to drop the Vehicle at the place where you rent it.

Q7. What documents are required for renting?


Ans. During registration of your profile, every user must add their Adhaar card details, Pan card details and Driving License. Without these, one cannot rent a vehicle using FTS Travel.

Q8. Do any documents required at the time of renting?


Ans. Yes, at the time of renting the User must show the details. For security purpose, one original document will be taken by the Owner or by the FTS Travel representative. The document will return after you drop the Vehicle at the Owner’s place. Yes, sometimes some photocopies may required.

Q9. What if I want to extend my Booking period?


Ans. For this you have to notify FTS Travel and the Owner of the Vehicle. If the vehicle is not already rented at that time and after the Owner’s agreement, you can extend your booking time after the payment.

Q10. Can I cancel my Booking?


Ans. Yes, You can cancel your booking anytime.

Q11. Is there any cancellation charge?


Ans. Yes there is Cancellation charge. To know more about the cancellation charges, please visit the Fee Policy of FTS Travel.

Q12. What if I return the Vehicle late?


Ans. For late returning, you will be charged @Rs. 250/ hour.

Q13. Is there any Speed Limit?


Ans. Yes, there is a speed Limit. For bike, it is 60 km/hr and for Car it is 80 km/hr.

Q14. Is there any fixed per day distance covered?


Ans. Yes. For Bike it is 130-150 km per day and for Car, it is

Q15. What if I damage something?


Ans. For damaging, you have to pay all the expenses of the Damage plus any extra cost which will be required for repairing.

Q16. What if there is any damage of the vehicle?


Ans. FTS Travel suggest you take the all around pictures of the vehicle including front, back, left, right, meter indicator, fuel indicator (and full interior, in case of a car), when you are going to rent the Vehicle. If you sense any damage of the Vehicle, then you must notify the Owner and FTS Travel immediately.

Q17. What if I lost some documents of the Vehicle?


Ans. For this, the renter has to pay all the cost of documentations plus the penalty charges.

Q18. Do you provide Helmet?


Ans. No, FTS Travel itself does not provide Helmet. Yes, the Owner may provide you Helmet, but it will be Owner choice. FTS Travel suggests you to take your own Helmet (two helmets, if required) as wearing Helmet is compulsory.

Q19. Is the Payment is safe and secure?


Ans. Yes, the payments will be 100% safe and secure.
